Incredible Creative Talents Take Part as Members of the 2025 D&AD Jury Panel
Every year, the Design and Art Direction (D&AD) Awards brings together hundreds and thousands of incredible creatives around the world, whether it be those participating as entrants or as judges. D&AD boasts a decorated roster of art directors, designers, illustrators and more to sift through all the works submitted to the awards that year. Last year’s jury line up included some pretty impressive names, like COLLINS founder Brian Collins and Theseus Chan of WERK Magazine, and some pretty familiar faces, like NUSAÉ’s Design Principal Andi Rahmat and Ogilvy Indonesia’s Chief Creative Officer Woon Hoh, the first two Indonesia-based creatives to be part of the D&AD jury panel. In 2025, the D&AD jury panel is no less impressive.
This year features even more Indonesian and Indonesia-based creatives as part of the jury roster. Eric Widjaja, founder and Design Principal at Thinking*Room, will be taking part as a jury panel member of the Typography category. Kendra Ahimsa, better known under the pseudonym Ardneks and was awarded a Wood Pencil together with Jordan Marzuki in the Book Design category for ‘Coastal Vision’, will serve as a jury panel member of the Illustration category. Defri Dwipaputra, Executive Creative Director at Dentsu Indonesia, will be part of the PR jury panel. Oslo-based Indonesian creative Listya Amelia, Design Director & Partner at OlssønBarbieri, will be part of the Packaging Design jury panel.
There are a number of incredibly talented creatives hailing for the APAC region that will take part as this year’s D&AD jury panel members. Arata Maruyama, Design Director and Founder of Japan-based visual communication design studio &Form, which was awarded a Wood Pencil for the Tokyo Dome City Adaptive Identity Design System, is part of this year’s Graphic Design jury panel. Chow Kok Keong (KK Chow), one of the creative minds behind the ‘Yellow Canteen’ campaign for Dulux Indonesia and awardee of the Yellow Pencil in the Spatial Design category last year, will be serving as a jury member of the Spatial Design category.
It’s clear to see that the jury panel for the 2025 D&AD Awards is as impressive as ever. Such incredible talents will come together later this May and sift through this year's entries and highlight the best of the best of the creative industry worldwide.
