Description

We are looking for an award-winning and experienced creative leader to join our in-house APAC Creative Team for one of the largest video-sharing platforms. As part of brand marketing, you will collaborate closely with our client's marketing and product teams to find innovative and breakthrough creative solutions that are impossible to ignore. Creative Studio handles all consumer-facing communications, including Localisation, Advertising, Evergreen content, Events, Interactive/Digital, Video & Motion Graphics, and Direct across product areas. You will lead a talented team of writers, designers, motion, video, and interactive creatives.

As the Creative Lead - Art, you will be an experienced creative problem solver responsible for delivering innovative and compelling solutions that meet creative briefs. You will be hands-on in your approach, supporting the team to bring ideas to life and shaping the brand's reputation through world-class creativity. You will demonstrate a strong track record of developing and managing creative teams, partnering with brand marketing professionals, and overseeing the entire creative process from start to finish. Our ideal candidate has an award-winning portfolio, a passion for contemporary creativity, and a desire to challenge the status quo with new ways of thinking, working, and making.

Qualification

  • 12-15 years of experience managing a mid to large team, preferably from an agency experience and/or leading in-house teams at global brands.

  • An award winning portfolio that highlights original breakthrough thinking and ideas

  • Understand what it means to pay close attention to the details, they matter.

  • Possess a highly strategic mindset, to connect with different groups across the organisation and identify marketing opportunities and translate them into exciting work

  • A great partner and strong collaborator who can navigate a matrixed organisation with ease and build successful relationships with stakeholders

  • Finger on the pulse of pop culture

  • Excellent management skills. Experience inspiring creative teams with a strong vision and empowering individuals to achieve their best work.

  • A strong design process and experience working toward solutions across various media.

  • Flexible and dependable

  • The incredible organisation, communication, prioritisation, and decision-making skills.

  • Empathy for the users, and empathy for individuals on a creative team.

  • Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects spanning key regional markets (India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia).
