Traveloka is looking for a Copywriter who will play an integral role in shaping how users experience our digital products through words. Acting as a sense-making designer, you will craft copy and content that humanize our interfaces, ensuring every interaction carries a distinct mood and tone of voice. Your work will guide users smoothly throughout their journey on our site and app, making their experience both intuitive and delightful.

As a problem solver, you will focus on digital user interface (UI) copy with an obsession for clarity, attention to space, and sensitivity to how information is visually placed. With a working understanding of how websites and apps are built, you will anticipate the copy needed across scenarios, creating thoughtful narratives that make each interaction seamless. You will also conduct design research—defining context, synthesizing data, and drawing insights to drive content effectiveness across copy and visuals.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will partner with product managers, engineers, interaction designers, visual designers, and other stakeholders, bringing empathy to the forefront by understanding user needs and emotions during their interactions with our products. To achieve optimal product fit and quality, you will balance multiple tasks concurrently, adapt to rapid changes and iterations, and deliver creative solutions on time. Strong stakeholder management will be essential as you align high-quality copy with broader business goals and objectives.

Qualification

  • Between 1–5 years overall work experience as a hands-on Writer in the industry (education background could range from Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing & Communication, or any other relevant disciplines; or Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Design, or other Related Field, With Equivalent Practical Design Experience).
  • Portfolio that showcases copywriting craft (and its application of copywriting principles) with some level of understanding of the Human Centered Design methodology (along with its methods and tools), willingness to learn and iterate, and passionate about design and storytelling.
  • Experience working with web or mobile-based products and services, and producing copies for digital products and/or content, and/or marketing communications.
  • Excellent in Indonesian and English communications (both verbal and written).
  • A deep sense of accountability, adaptability, and embracing ambiguity, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
